notes
This is a supergroup of Dead End Records Artists Featuring Members Of The Screwed Up Click Including DJ Screw, H.A.W.K., Big Pokey, Fat Pat, E.S.G., C-Note, and Koldjak...... from H.A.W.K.'s myspace:
Born and raised in Houston but I was just your average Joe, yah know. Coming up was just like coming up with anybody else we had a family of five, im the oldest of the four kids, I started out as a working man in corporate America for a little while but I had to take a venture into rap after my brother went over to Screws and introduced me to DJ Screw. We played around over their for a long time doing freestyles, and after that I was like forget it let me gone ahead and take a chance. That is when we hooked up and formed D.E.A. and after that was just my thing to rap.
I got started through my brother, he had done some stuff with screw and I heard people saying my brother on a tape rapping and ripping it up, and I was like oh manne my brother can rap I aint never heard my brother rap. I heard the tape it was nice, he took me over to meet screw and that is when we would freestyle. I always could write naturally because I did poetry but I never took it as I was going to be rapping and im going to be a full time rapper. It just unfolded like that from being over Screw House and he was like let gone ahead and make a album. It was about 95-96 I started taking it seriously and this is what ive become.
Scarface was just about all we really had to look up to out here in Texas. In Texas if you was a artist and wasnt looking up to Face then you aint have no business out here in music. In Texas he is just about the only person that I can really say that I looked up too. I used to listen to a lot of cats, a lot of cats been out here putting it down like South Park Coalition. They gave me that drive, because I saw them cats doing it.

Best Cd I've Ever Heard!!! No Doubt!!!
Legendary and Sacred
author: James Taylor IIIThis cd was the best cd out when it originally came out, now it has even more significance since the only surviving member of this group is currently doing fed time. This cd is motivating, inspirational and a reminder that life is short and you have to enjoy life and all that it has to offer!
