David Neil Cline - A Fit of Rage (Final Mix)
author: Department of Virtuosity (Poland)David Neil Cline (guitars, vocals, keys) formed his group in 1985. Aforementioned debut album was originally released on vinyl in the year 1987, then remixed, remastered and enriched with three new tracks 20 years later. The rest musicians from the line-up were: Mark Mann (drums), Jegg Giovannangeli (drums, vocals) and late J.D. Donnelly (bass guitar). American musicians are representatives of guitar-oriented heavy metal with traditional hard rock influences. Their music is vivid, brisk, dynamic, lively and simply youth. The sound is bit rough, however it excellently harmonizes with David's classic singing. A massive riffs make the music really heavy, and their variety are great, yet economical guitar solos. Yep, David doesn't pamper us with guitar charges, but probably it wasn't his intention to do. All the tracks are interestingly arranged what means no track are overflowing by redundant components. All is served in right proportion, and David administers us his musical ideas in moderation. Let's blend the styles of Richie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix and Dave Murray to get the style of David Neil Cline.
