David Brewer and The Intimidators
David Brewer. Big? Yeah! Intimidating? Maybe. Dull? Never! And definitely talented. All those years of playing blues rooms have accomplished a very good thing. They've created a seasoned player with a sly knack for catchy songwriting, monster guitar chops and near genre-perfect banged-up vocals.
Brewer's been living the life of a bluesman for 35 years. Although he was born and still lives in Seattle, his mom is from Florida and his dad is from Tennessee. He went to high school in Hawaii with Gabby Pahinui's kids. He's part Seminole and very proud of his American Indian heritage. After a tour in Vietnam, in 1969, he made his way back to Seattle via Texas. Once back, he toured for 2 1/2 years with Albert Collins. David has toured Europe constantly
since 1994, He's won The Washington Blues Society's awards for "Best Guitar Player" and "Best Songwriter" several times, and is in "The Hall of Fame "He has weathered good times and bad and shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the blues.

Bad Habits
author: David KirkOne of the best blues albums of all time.........still out here groovin' with you Dave...since the first time Brad and I met you @ the Island.........:) rock on bro!!!
This is unique
author: Willie KirkhamDavid Brewer's style is simply unique. The songs he writes himself are excellent and the covers he does are often an improvement of the originals - so why do covers at all ? His atmospheric guitar playing just oozes with that special blues feeling. However no recording could ever capture his simply amazing live performances and the atmosphere he creates in a venue, as I was lucky enough to witness several times at home in Ireland. If he ever plays anywhere near you, drop whatever you're doing and experience David Brewer and band treating the blues like nobody else can. But buy the CD to sweeten the time 'till then...
Stinging guitar work, excellent band, this works all the way through.
author: Ted ToddEven the covers ring with originality. The powerful guitar, tight band, and strong vocals on each track make this a great release. A good follow up to Bad Habits and All Tore Down.
