notes
David Bray knows his way around a guitar. He should, he's been playing one since before kindergarten, then got his own guitar at age seven.
Tight chord work, solos that step outside with conviction, and thick multi-string screams that sustain into warm and musical feedback through very old Marshall and Fender amplifiers suped-up by David himself, all comprise the Bray sound.
Raised on rock, funk, and blues, David cut his teeth touring nationally in bands playing a variety of styles, including country. A rock guitar player by definition, he credits his trips through Nashville's Printer's Alley as a major influence. "They play it all there, sometimes in the same song, sometimes even in the same measure."
Musicians include:
Chuck Hurley - drums on Move Me, Walk With Me, Cold Day
John Jordan - bass on Cold Day
Rebel Van Loh - vocals on Rebel
David Bray - guitars on all songs, as well as vocals and bass on Move Me, vocals and bass on Walk With Me, vocals on Cold Day, vocals on Funky Step, and bass on Rebel
