Reviews of With and Against:
"There's a lot of Dexter Gordon and Wayne Shorter in Borgo's generally warm sound, along with [Sam] Rivers and the inevitable influence of John Coltrane. In other words, another modernist with a large record collection, big ears, and like-minded colleagues."
-- Stuart Kremsky, Cadence
"He's got a melodic flair, yet is not afraid of stepping out a bit and blowing some hard edged harmonics on tenor ... There's a wonderful energy running throughout ... This is great music played with passion by great players. Highly recommended."
-- Michael Bettine, Jazz Now Magazine
