Rocky Pop with floating vocals and arousing melodies. Highway adventure, haunting love, streetfights and Martians. From Pop crooner to rough Cockney Rocker, David gives his best. Action and suspense. Gripping & thrilling.

notes

David Rubin is a Montreal born singer songwriter
with a distinct velvety voice, capable of singing
songs in any musical genre.
David's father was a singer in big band The Heat Waves and so impressive that Cab Calloway asked him to join him on tour.
Citing influences from Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison,
Marty Robbins to the Rolling Stones and the Clash, David excels in many musical genres.
As a child, David was already entertaining audiences on seventeen episodes of Screen Gems Little People hosted by Jack Barry, quiz show host of Twenty One as told in the movie Quiz Show. As a teenager David abandoned the spotlight, graduated high school and worked at various jobs.
No longer able to ignore his true calling for music,
David began taking voice lessons and writing his own songs.
Prolific and passionate about his songwriting, David has
written more than eighty songs in only four years.
David independently produces his music with Satellite Studios in Montreal, resulting in his first album Fantastica, the eclectic Ultra Songs, the country & western album Dave's Country, the pop-rock album When, the pop/alternative album One Day, and the latest release, Secret Agent.
David's songs have received airplay in America, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, England, Isreal, Malta, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and Canada.
All six David Rubin albums are available right here at CDBaby.

This is a great cd to listen to and dance to. My friends and I played it at a party and even though most of us were high on tequila, we loved the music! The songs are promising and I wish you had a band we could go hear someday. Keep singing and luv ya!

  • Real instruments are better
    author: Andrea Metheny

Your voice could be better complimented with a "real" band, "real" instruments as opposed to this synthesized stuff!
