David Pryde first turned heads in 1999 when he took the first prize at the Comedy Night in Canada Competition at the Just for Laughs Festival. Since then he has appeared in two galas at Just for Laughs, had his own special on CTV’s Comedy Now, and continues to perform across the country.
Known for smart, well-crafted material, David blindsides audiences by bringing absurd twists to the simplest topics, occasionally veering into shocking territory that contrasts his shy, straight-A demeanor.
