David Lynn Rice (also known as Dave Rice) is a songwriter/singer who writes in several genres. With more than 600 songs in his catalog, "Reflections" is his first Romantic Pop Album. He would rather write than sing and is highly interested in having talented singers do "covers" of his many songs.
His writing style for Lovesongs includes hints of Latin-Pop Music and a little Jazz thrown in for good measure. Intended for more mature audiences, he would select Jack Jones, Robert Goulet or Julio Iglesias to perform most of these songs if they were available for vocals.
A native of Texarkana, (a twin city located on the borders of Arkansas and Texas) Rice has been writing for about five years. Somewhat prolific, he averages more than 100 songs written and recorded each year. He now lives in Glen Rose, Texas southwest of Ft. Worth.
At present, he is working on a second Country Album and a sequel to "Reflections."
