notes
At 16, Dave was abducted by aliens. Though the anal probes rendered him unable to walk normally, the experimentation gave him incredible musical gifts...(smiles)...
The Dave Wilkins Band (DWB) was born just over a year ago whilst Dave was on tour as a singer/songwriter with Russell Crowe's Thirty Odd Foot Of Grunts (TOFOG).
It took five late night phone calls from Los Angeles and a listen to the new song ideas to bring this talented bunch of musicians together as DWB.
After finishing the sold-out TOFOG tour of America, Dave flew back to Sydney and has been working with Kinnon Holt, Matt Cornell, Kylie Burtland, Catherine Synnerdahl, and Dave Reynolds.
The album is taking shape with a sound somewhere amid the Beatles, Jellyfish and the Black Crowes. DWB are now on the look-out for distributors for their debut album, Whatever Gets You Through.

Anticipating the full album
author: JenniferA pleasing taste of what DWB can do -- since my previous Dave experience is limited to TOFOG club shows here in Chicago. Right Before My Eyes is in heavy rotation on my computer. Can't wait for the full album!
blew me away, solid new sound
author: CimoreneThis sample of DWB's offerings blew me away! A solid new sound from musicians who know and love what they are doing. Can't wait for the full cd!!
