notes
Dave Rice is a songwriter. He sings to show others how the song sounds. He is not a performer. His songs reflect a traditional country influence with a pop, novelty or humorous twist. His primary objective is to get talented artists to do covers of his songs.
With more than 600 of his songs in several genres to his credit (Pop, Country, Blues, Gospel, Latin, Jazz, Hawaiian and Novelty) this experienced writer would like to move his music to the next level. He is a multi-genre writer with a unique background. He says that when he lived in the suburbs of Nashville, he never imagined that he would be involved in Country Music as a writer or artist.
This was Dave's first album and probably would have been much better if he had waited until his singing style was more seasoned. Please remember, he is a songwriter and has no desire to be a performer. A better genre description would probably be, "Campy Country."
Dave's favorite Country singers are George Strait, Willie Nelson and Don Williams. His interest in the Internet is reflected in song number six of this album: "Internet Cowboy." Surprisingly, a casual interest in Shakespeare's Works can be found in song number seven: "What Fools!"
His new Pop Album, "Reflections" is available at CDBaby and other sites now.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This Album and individual songs are only available through CD Baby's Digital Distribution Network. Be sure to look for his songs at Apple's iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody and other popular digital download sites!

Hi Dave. I really liked your cd. You have really original lyrics and a unique style. You're kind of old country with a Las Vegas Lounge twist to it. I could hear your songs in the movies. Good Luck.
