d`atlee has been described as my bloody valentine meets air meets the misfits with a twist of surfy guitar. the music is good catchy rock and roll. think new school ramones meets the beach boys after the shoegaze era.

notes
Reviewer: New Music Monthly
The debut effort from New York's d`atlee is ecclectic, sophisticated rock & roll. This "all over the map" EP is like a bipolar bender through an underwater mortuary from the cockpit of a Bently submarine. Strange and beautiful things swim by, as surprised to see you as you are to see them, while high above, on the surface, a young Dick Dale can be seen among the crashing foam. This collection of songs has us really anxious to hear a full length.

Ecclectic mix of moods. Strange Trip. Good Fun.
author: New Music MonthlyThe debut effort by New York's D'atlee is ecclectic and sophisticated. Like a bipolar bender through an underwater mortuary. All sorts of strange images swim by and are as surprised to see you, as you are to see them. High above on the surface a young Dick Dale "hangs ten", while you drop another "whatever you're on." It's a quick trip, but a memorable one. We look foward to a full length, in the future. Surfs' up......................and waaaaay down.
