Darryl Riden is a contemporary Christian artist, songwriter, and producer from Tennessee. He has been a professional artist for 19 years. Darryl toured as lead singer for the band Deliverance in the 80's and early 90's. He has been called by a major record company rep as "the best kept secret in Nashville."
Darryl has also been a youth pastor/ evangelist for many years and has had the privilege of leading thousands of young people to Christ. He is now the founder/president of a regional student outreach organization called Christ Powered Ministries located in Morristown , TN.
"This Fragile Journey" is a very powerful collection of songs that point to the grace and redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Darryl was joined in the studio (East Iris Studio in Nashville), with former members of the national band Among Thorns. Mandisa, of American Idol fame, is featured on the song "Beggar" and she also lends her incredible voice to BGV's on several other songs. The great David Davidson (everyone from Trisha Yearwood to Creed) performed the violin on 2 songs.
This album can also be used as an outreach tool for those sharing their faith in Christ. In the liner notes it has a Gospel presentation and an invitation to trust in Jesus as Savior.

    I just heard Darryl's music in the past couple of weeks, he is a fantastic writer! Beautiful voice, Beggar is amazing-makes me want to run to Jesus. I felt the song Fragile very deeply, Angels Cry may be my new favorite song...ever! I'm thankful there are real artists out there that let Christ shine through them--this one shines bright!

    Ive Orderd ThisCD ,it hasnt arrived yet, but already I Hadto write a reveiw, the Songs samples ive listend to on this page are Wonderful, I Just had to buy the CD, Bueautiful Voice, heartfelt lryics that touched my heart in a way that no over songs ever have, Especially " I Said a Prayer" WOW the hairs on the back of my neck stands up everytime, A truely beautiful song, I Cant wait to listen to the whole cd and all the songs in their entirety, I Do hope DARRYL RIDEN does recored more stuff, i would defiantly buy them, Thank you for the wondeful music, thank you for touching my heart.     All I can say about Darryl's cd is that it is wonderful...it is deep and moving. this is music I would give to anyone seeking Christ. I listen to it everyday. "My Window" changed the way I look at the world around me. I am thankful for the wake up call. Beggar just makes my hands go up in praise. So many great songs. "I Want to Live" should be the banner tune of my generation. Get this cd, you won't be sorry!

    Darryl is new to me and I am so glad I came across his music. I am not a big fan of most christian music but this cd is really different. I have to admit I am very moved by the message he writes about. This cd has moved me closer to Jesus. I am getting it for several of my friends who need to wake up to the reality of Christ.Only 1 question... When is the next album coming out?!!? Hope to see him somewhere in concert soon!
