notes
Hailing from places as rich in musical soil as Austin and Kerrville, Texas, Danny Frazier continues in the great tradition of rootsy singer/songwriters such as Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell. Feeling less than satisfied following his MCA/Decca Records release "Frazier River" in the late nineties, Danny relocated to Cincinnati to regroup. It is here that he re-discovered his muse and began to pour his heart into a new batch of songs. These songs reflect not only the musical heritage of growing up in Texas, as the son of a Pentecostal preacher, but the lessons learned from his life in and out of the music business. Along with bandmates Chris Goins (guitar), Brian Baverman (drums), and Vernay Reindollar III (bass), Danny has forged a new sound and a new attitude. This music is too raw for today's country, too down home for modern rock. It is American Roots music. Influenced as much by blues and rock as it is by country, this music has echoes of everything from Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to Eric Clapton and Neil Young. But through it all one sound remains. The sound of the Danny Frazier Band. Check it out. We think you'll like what you hear.

What a voice...what a Guy!
author: Jessie LaneAs many of you know, Joe Cocker ain't got nothing on Danny Frazier when it comes to soul! I have had this album for 2 years now and it has remained in my selection of 10 that I keep loaded ready to play in my car. Danny has a haunting voice smooth as molasses yet complimented by a unique rugged tone. Danny doesn't just sing his heart out, he hands it to the audience during his always WOW performances, and whats crazier is he is able to hit a full range of octaves with out breaking a sweat. What a talent - and even more an amazing guy. Next time you have an open night be sure to catch a show because he is always doing what he loves at least five nights a week in your local bar. How lucky are we to be able to have front row seats to see such amazing talent!?!
everything was great

Excellent!
author: RobinThis music is unlike music I have heard before, but still has a timelessness about it, a familiarness that is untapped in today's market. Much respect to the DFB for taking a chance on a different sound. Danny's delicious voice delivers these well written songs beautifully.

Any serious listener finds themself caught up in the emotion of Danny Frazier's lyrics and one of kind voice. Outstanding guitar work by Chris Goins and a rythem section thats straight and strong. This is a collection of raw unglossed American music that can be enjoyed by lovers of Merle to Mellencamp.

Danny's a helluva songwriter with a helluva band
author: Debbie ClarkI've followed this band for several years and what has always brought me was the great execution of wonderfully written songs. This is a collection of some of the best ones ever, especially my personal favorites "Love Don't get No Better Than This" and "Hank to Thank". Whether you're a rock or country fan, I think you'll love this CD as much as I do.
