notes
Dan Litwin has been playing guitar since 1970. He grew up being influenced by the classic rock guitarists, who all contributed to his own style of guitar playing and songwriting. He says his influences range from Jimi Hendrix and Ritchie Blackmore, right on up to Van Halen and on over to Stevie Ray.
But music wasn't the only thing to capture Dan's attention, having been born in California just in time to witness the peace movement of the 1960's. He believes that we should not throw out the 1960's baby (peace) with the bathwater (whatever you did in the 60's you now regret).
It was about peace, love, and MUSIC!
Dan saw that the music of the 1960's was part of a real peace movement. Back then, we knew that Big Brother was the problem, not the solution. We railed against the machine. We even had slogans like "Do your own thing". We knew better than to go running to Big Brother to help solve our problems. The machine was the problem - and still is.
Could music lovers (like you) help Dan revive that truly American spirit of waging peace? Could we inspire those who remember that Big Brother is still the problem, and not the solution? With the hope that we can, Dan Litwin presents Peacemakers - rock for peace and freedom.

Damn!
author: Mark ChallyI got it as a gift from a friend, and gave it a play. It's going onto my iPod right now. I'll probably buy it for some of my friends to keep the message flowing. Hint: The lyrics are as good as the tunes.
gets better with each listen!
author: Joe SilvestriYou know its a good album when it gets better with each listen. I got this album for xmas and find it's not leaving my new MP3 player. So nice to hear some excellent rock with lyrics that celebrate freedom. Can't wait to hear Dan Litwin play at the LPNevada State Convention. www.LPCCNV.org

This Guy Can Play !!
author: Gordon BoormanWow, what a great sound! Dan Litwin really knows how to make a Fender Strat sound good (like a Fender Strat should). This album shows off the stuff of a very accomplished guitarist. It is a pleasure to listen to.
Buy some Real Rock!
author: Marilyn PrinceThis album is a refreshing, entertaining, example of "Real Rock", and I enjoy listening to it regularly. It is evident that Mr. Litwin has a lot of talent and love for his art, and I'm glad he has chosen to share it with us. Speaking of art, in addition to the excellent music, the cover and insert artwork is outstanding. Kudos to Mr. Litwin for creating and assembling an allaround work of art.
Quite a complete package - hard to believe this is a indie effort.
author: Mike KahrsAs a fledgling record producer I have a stack of CDs on my desk right now waiting for review - none of which compare to my copy of Peacemakers. Dan Litwin apparently has a fine-toothed comb as fine as mine because none of my pet peeves appear anywhere on this product. As I open the CD the insert falls open, all the lyrics, all the credits, the concept behind the album, it's all there. On disc, 10 strong tracks - no throwaways or filler. Excellent work!
Back-to-Basics Rock with a Big Message
author: Don BakerMr. Litwin has clearly done a great job melding his musical talent with his political visions. His messages hit home and make sense, and are enjoyable to listen to as well. The musical themes are anchored by solid guitar work and the occasional whipping drum lines. I've listened to this album at least 20 times and still like it! "MARCH!"
Excellent variety of rockin' tunes, Wage Peace is...beautiful.
author: Klint MonroeExcellent variety/mix of rockin' tunes with lyrics one can feel good singing. Wage Peace is, well...beautiful. I especially enjoy the dual guitars in the star-spangled part. No matter what favorite rockin' style is you'll find it here.
Great CD. Every song is a winner!
author: Tina Powers-SmithGreat CD! I usually have to listen to new music a few times before I can say that I like it, but I really enjoyed this CD the first time. Another thing that amazed me, is that I like each and every song on the album. Rock on!
