  • Captures the vibe of the first three Halloween films well
    author: Vlastik Spastik

The Halloween music is reworked into something familiar, and yet, distinctly new. It recalls authentically the Halloween films soundtracks and Germany's Tangerine Dream of the time. This kind of music really stands outside of time since its all about mood and anyway, Halloween, like Mike Myers, never dies.

  • True Warrior of House Music;I see!

Reminds me of when me and my boys;DJ Fresh and DJ Sane and da rest of the gang started projects off with movie style intros....alright this means war!

  • HalloweeN fans take note...

If you enjoy the early synth-driven soundtracks, there's a good chance you'll enjoy this cd -- Highly recommended.

  • Cool

Cool. Great mood. Great overall feel.

  • Ok, but nothing fantastic.....
    author: EvilDingDong

Overall, I found this CD rather unimpressive. What sounded pretty good off the preview clips sounds rather bland out of the stereo speakers. It's not a _bad_ album. It's just not a great album. If you liked early 90's industrial ( say Cleopatra or Zoth Ommog label ), you will probably find this very similar. While I did like early 90's industrial, electronics have come a long way since then. Too put it bluntly, this album sounds like something that would have been considered creative 12 years ago.

  • true Horror

I am from Germany and i love this CD. It's Horror-sound in a real dark form. The Tracks are good like the Halloween Movies. fantastic atmosphere!

  • This CD is simpy awesome!

This is a must have for all you Halloween/Carpenter fans. The scores are great and make you long for those classic tunes. Production quality is excellent a CD no true fan of the genre should be without!

  • More than a tribute soundtrack...
    author: Wes Moore

Sure it's smacks of Carpenter, (ala Christine, Escape from New York etc) and sure it jives with the Halloween's...but it's MORE than that! Each track is completely different, and with concise samplings of quotes from the first 3 Halloween films, thrown in for double the impact. If there were another Carpenter sequel or film of similar type, this music would be perfect! But yet Schulte is able to give it his own spin as well, making it a fresh take on a cherished style. You just don't find soundtracks like this anymore--two thumbs up! www.wesmoore.com

  • distinctly Carpenterian—yet significantly more dynamic
    author: Elias Granillo

"the production is crisp, and the sounds are robust. While distinctly Carpenterian—yet significantly more dynamic—the music found on the Haddonfield CD is completely original, with the occasional nod to certain cues from the first three Halloween films." - EG - seaoftranquility.org
