notes
The fresh and soulful sounds of Scott and Michelle's voices, combined with their high energy performance, memorable and meaningful songwriting, and instrumental finness, put them in a category all their own. Acoustic Rock or Folk genres could very well hold them but not completely. They dip down into R&B, Pop, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, and Blues showing the versatility of this duo.
While Scott's guitar and vocals are smooth and effortless, Michelle's vocal and percussion proves soulful and rhythmic, complimenting eachother in their Yin & Yang musical approach making their harmonic weavings a natural blend.
After Scott and Michelle met in 1997, they found their musical, harmonic, and songwriting chemistry to be extraordinary and magnetic. They immediately combined forces and started collaborating for the release of their 1st of 4 CD's ( Waiting For The Revolution 1998 ).

I love this CD
author: Sarah BurrillRich melodic music, clear, authentic and soulful vocals, lyrics that bring the stories alive. These songs stay with me. This CD is on my list of favorites along side The Beatles Rubber Soul, Bonnie Raitts Street Lights and The Dixie Chicks Taking the Long Way.
Worth some serious listening time!
author: Mary TrericeI loved the re-release of Topanga Canyon, chuckled out loud at Elvis, cried at the beauty of Rachel's Song, was chilled by the history of April 9, 1865, and found One Good Reason reason enough to listen to it all again. This is one terrific genre busting CD. Indies rule!
