Daize is a special young lady. She is a pro surfer, model, singer/songwriter and volunteer for her church. She has accomplished a lot in her short life so far and has big plans for the future. Her producer Cliff Brodsky has invested a lot of money, and time and creative energy in her as an artist.
Cliff Brodsky, Daize's Producer says about her, "I think Daize is one of those kinds of people that you have to meet in person to get her vibe. She is like no other person that I have ever met. There is something really good about her and I can't explain exactly what that is. But it's there and it isn't going away. When I found her a year and a half ago, she had a little band that was all over the place and her demos were not very polished. I came in and totally went for it with her by investing my expertise with putting together new bands, charting out all her songs, being her music director, organizing her music and goals and systematically put together her entire musical life. We have made enormous progress as a team and both feel very good about the musical baby that we created together".
One of the key musicians that played on the album and with us live was Bernard Yin, of the famed Migs and Brazil 2000. His energy and overall vibe was great and his guitar playing was the perfect flavor for Daize's music.

Even better than her convention performance

Saw the lady play at the Republican convention. She seemed energetic and interesting so I rolled the bones on the CD. I found it quite interesting and it will go into my long car ride mix. So much of what is out there sounds like the same overproduced cr*p. This has been enjoyable even for multiple listenings. I look forward to her next CD.

This CD is a great listen for people who love american folky rock

Even though I produced the CD, I still have an opinion. Quite often I'll produce some music and then it's over and I won't listen to it again. This CD is something that I continue to listen to because I honestly like the music above and beyond the act of making it. I would buy this CD if was a normal person who had nothing to do with it. The songs are all fun, and sound really good and overall I would say that it is something that a lot of people would like. You can play it in your car or at a party or to just hang out with. It doesn't get old and I think it get's better each time I listen to it.
