notes
Cyrish is a solo project by Jeff Reed that was recorded in
the White and Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach, CA. Jeff
dubbed the guitars, bass, drums and vocals in an austere
environment which has yielded a quality product for the Rock world. This record will be refreshing for the contemplative listener that's ready for something that is both lyrically and musically thoughtful.
Jeff started out as a drummer so all of the songs on this record have an underlying rhythmic influence. Over time, Jeff began to write songs on guitar and bass and now his skills with all of these instruments have come together to create the Cyrish sound. The graphic design will be sure to make just about anyone laugh. A good balance of seriousness and comedy went into this record both in terms of lyrics and graphic design. Song topics range from trains, to theology to loans. Enjoy the Cyclops!
