A ‘first of its kind’ project, “Welcome To Nashville" features some of the most popular barbershop quartets from across the country coming together to celebrate the Barbershop Harmony Society’s upcoming move to Nashville. The CD is a compilation of all new recordings by some of the finest barbershop quartets in the world, singing songs that evoke the spirit of Music City while retaining the signature sound of barbershop harmony.
Highlights of the “Welcome To Nashville” project include the 2004 International Champions, Gotcha!, singing “Be My Baby Tonight”; Realtime, the 2005 international Champions singing Rocky Top and the 2006 International Champions, Vocal Spectrum, performing “Daddy Sang Bass (with Richard Sterban, bass singer from the Oak Ridge Boys, as a guest vocalist). Legendary vocal group the Jordanaires join Rounders singing the Elvis classic, "Are You Lonesome Tonight".
