"The Charles Shaw Project is an acoustic two-piece hailing from Los Angeles California. Born in the chilling month of November 2005, the band is fronted by actress Aimee Lynn Chadwick (A CINDERELLA STORY, RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 4 & 5) and cult film director TJ Nordaker (THE JANITOR, SICKENING CONCEPTIONS), The Charles Shaw Project produces melodic, intimate and mournful songs that are constantly evolving. The songwriting is known for it's stark honesty and soulful introspection that resist classification, but, because of their mostly guitar accompaniment, have sometimes been catagorized as folk music or the hybrid class folk-rock. With very limited promotion the band has managed to garner a genuine following that continues to grow and defy an age demographic. In June 2006, The Charles Shaw Project jumped in their Volkswagon Bug and set out on a two week long west coast tour armed with only an acoustic guitar."

Aimee-Lynn Chadwick's vocals are lovely; T. J. Nordaker's guitar accompaniment hits the spot; and the lyrics are at once both contemporary and timeless.

author: HeatherThis CD is AWESOME. Aimee Lynn's sound is a prefect mix between Jewel and Alanis Morrisette. The Charles Shaw project has a sound that is pure, simple, and true. I would definately recomend this cd to anyone!
