notes
Cry On Cue is the brainchild of Los Angeles-born singer-songwriter-guitarist Bernie Larsen.
Larsen first gained international attention as an original member of slide-king David Lindley's El Rayo X band, serving as Lindley's rhythm guitarist for four studio albums and several world tours.
From there, he went on to record and tour with Melissa Etheridge, a musical relationship that included a place on the two-time Grammy-nominated "Brave and Crazy" album and a European tour that took the band to the legendary outdoor concert at the foot of the fallen Berlin Wall.
As leader of the R&B influenced organic reggae band Cry On Cue, Larsen and his music cut straight to the heart of the matter, and do so with equal amounts of irony, wit and humor.
on this record with dj amani smith the hybrid of jamaican style roots music and underground hip hop explored new terrain for the genre of reggae.

author: Katie ThompsonThis c.d. is great. The music is relaxing, at the same time, you can't help but move. I have seen them in person playing and you can feel the soul in their music. You can tell they love what they do. This c.d.is great. I love there music.

Absolutely Brilliant Music!!!! This guy has come of age!!!!!!!!!
author: Peter DennyI have listened to Cry on Cue's music for years but I can tell you this band has come of age. If you like your reggae played with heartfelt soul you gotta listen to this recording, he is there. Great songs hit you straight away, the music here does exactly that. This record has the lot. Concious songwriting, Expert musicianship, Hip swaying grooves and that unmistakable sweet voice, wow! And for good measure a few tracks featuring the legendary Jamacian drum & bass duo of Santa & Fully Fullwood aka the Soul Syndicate band, it does not come any better!
