notes
In 1980, after being with EMI in London, Crow Johnson moved to the Ozarks where she could scratch out and shape the kind of sounds she wanted to hear. This album was recorded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a budget of one hour per song. This is a heartfelt renegad's first solo album of original songs. Because the words "damn" and "bull shit" were used, the LP was both beloved for it's wisdom, humor and honesty and--- shunned by the up-tight.
