notes
Charles Crosson has released his first CD, "Get Out Of Town!"
A compilation of 17 original creations, Charles draws on his intimate experiences being, "out of town", in the wilds of nature and many experiences of life.
"This CD was produced by my dear friend Ray Scudero (Of Blessed Memory), without whom of course it would not have been possible. Ray added so many things to this album both musically and as my long time dear friend, thus it is to him that I dedicate this CD!"

Meaningful, heartfelt, joyful, serious, and the sounds will resound in your head
author: Paul Crosson"Get Out of Town" is some of the best advice one can heed to get the mind and soul clear! As reflected through the lyrics in Charles' CD with the same title it rings clear with a message of nature and wilderness as healer. However, there is more than one theme in this collection of tunes from the personal to the political and enhanced with a sense of spirit. Fine melodies, harmonies, and excellent musicianship compose this musical venture that while mostly folky Charles does paddle into other waters that are entertaining, offer pleasant change, and express his talents. Have numerous listens and journey into Charles' life's experiences. Hopeful, prophetic, painful, and soul-searching. Meaningful, heartfelt, joyful, serious, and the sounds will resound in your head with welcomed acceptance!
Wow. Just ... wow.
author: Rahel Sharon JaskowCharles Crosson's new CD, "Get Out of Town," is wonderful. Charles Crosson is a talented singer-songwriter, and his work with Ray Scudero of Argaman Studios has resulted in one beautiful disc. It's all great: the lyrics, the music, the arrangements, the mix. Wow. Just ... wow.
Silken sounds, crystal chords, singular sincerity and intriguing lyrics!
author: Hank AlanomiWe're on our 100th + listen around here, and this music has not lost it's edge! There is something hauntingly familiar, yet startlingly fresh about these heartful offerings, which combine a confident and pleasing guitarcraft with a very personal and intriguing lyricism. High originality with deep-down roots, this is good nourishment for the long haul.

An absolutely amazing cd, full of inspiration.
author: Feliz Navidad MadrugadaThis cd just happens to be the most truely inspirational piece of work I have listened to in a long time. The lyrics are outstanding. They bring out the truth of our world's current situation, and they bring in hope for realization to this matter. Charles's voice is calm and sweet yet also very strong. The cd is full of guitar melodies that are intricately detailed and soothingly harmonized. "Get out of Town!" is an amazing combination of music that you can listen to over and over and over!
