Called "the TOP band of ALL TIME", the Crashtones are here and poised to rock your socks off. F**k yeah!
Are THE CRASHTONES right for me?
Here are some helpful facts about the Crashtones to help you make your decision.
--------------
COLORFUL OF THE STEREO was recorded in FULL, HI-FI STEREO. It is best listened to “STEREOPHONICALLY” (with more than one speaker.)
NO ANIMALS were HARMED in the creation of COLORFUL OF THE STEREO.
If you don't like NAZIS and COMMUNISTS (and who does?)... then COLORFUL OF THE STEREO is for YOU!
If the best things in life are *FREE*… Then COLORFUL OF THE STEREO at around $12 must be EVEN BETTER!
CHUCK NORRIS thinks COLORFUL OF THE STEREO is “PRETTY GOOD.”
COLORFUL OF THE STEREO is what your parents were listening to when they CONCEIVED YOU.
Don't kid yourself. Your 8 year old does drugs. F**K YEAH!

Addictive
author: Lin DSam has an absolutely amazing vocal range! Every song grabs ahold of you & makes you want to crawl inside the speakers to hear it just a little closer.
Stereofunktastick!!!!
author: Netra RaleighI really love this CD!!!! I am a chic so of course I'm diggin the ones put out there for the ladies!!!! Alone and Black Dress...I dig on Reflex...and King of the Robots too though!!!!! I love to turn it up, and close my eyes, so that I can focus on all the melody involved...it's like all of these wonderful notes drift from my speakers and I feel like I have to catch every one of them!! And on the slower songs the vocals are so soothing and haunting...and on the faster tracks it's like who is this powerhouse???? Get this CD....promise you will not regret it!!!!
Great album!
author: Fabrice, FranceVery talented singer, great lyrics, awesome music! Personally my favorite song is Black Dress ^^
Nice Guys Turn Into What??
author: Rachael CThis definitely has rocketed to my top 10 albums. I love the violin, the singer's range, and general unique creativity of this band. I've been telling everyone about this CD, even got the gym where I work out to play it over the stereo system so I can have a kick-ass workout.
What a voice!
author: Anke Feger, GermanyGreat voice. I hear it at my work all the time. Calms me down, when my employer is a pain in the neck and I'm shortly before going wild.
Bangin!!
author: Joanne GlennWoah!!! I too love Sam's voice (hell, I love Sam!) but the songs here are damn rockin' too. Likin' the combination of thoughtful melody and general rawk-out noise. You can never have too many minor chords I reckon, and this album manages to be dark yet funky. The Date Song/ Reflex/Below are standout tracks I think. I'm a fan of hiphop and also metal like Korn and Taproot but this really hits the spot for me...I'm playing it to death. Thanks gents...how's about a UK gig maybe?!
Very Chili
author: ShinyI liked Black Dress, but I was expecting something more pared down and personal like Pete Yorn, Iron & Wine, Badly Drawn Boy, Jeff Buckley or Surfjan Stevens. I hope on the next CD we'll get to hear more of Sam's lovely voice and less clanging guitars.
Frakin' Awesome!
author: Buck RowletteI am addicted to this album. It is like sweet, gooey honey for the ears.
Electric Dynamite
author: Mark McClain WilsonAwesome! Like the Rollins Band meets Red Hot Chili Peppers with a dash of Ozomatli thrown in for good measure. If you can ever see them live, do so. Electric dynamite on stage. Now it's in the car. Rockin'!
Excellent!
author: Den S.Nobody should be this talented and versatile! Not only is Sam Witwer a very talented actor (Pvt. Jessup in "The Mist," Crashdown on "Battlestar Galactica," and other TV roles), he is an exceptionally accomplished, gifted musician capable of writing and performing in a variety of styles. Buy this disc...you won't be disappointed!
great CD
author: marilyngreat music, is there lyrcis on the internet somewhere ive looked everywhere havent found anything yet...
Scrumptulescent!
author: VanessaThis is an excellent CD. It has a good beat, meaningful (and sometimes hilarious)lyrics, and great vocals. The sound varies from song to song, and there's something everyone will enjoy on it. Many songs have a Red Hot Chilli Pepper feel to it. I definately reccomend this CD.
So good it's ri-goddamned-diculous.
author: TillyFar superior to most first albums, Colorful Of The Stereo has a cohesiveness and unity that is lacking in the albums of many established artists. Beautifully written music, fascinating lyrics and an incredibly varied musical sound all make this album really excellent and deserving of some serious attention. I can't wait for the next album!
Nice one!
author: Mark, LondonMy sister Adie introduced this bloke's CD to me. Good mix of stuff on it - perfect for partying or driving as there's something for everyone. Nice one!
Piggin' brilliant. BUY IT!
author: Adie in ScotlandPiggin' brilliant, with each song conjuring up its own unique image. Put me in mind of early INXS and Chilli Peppers. Particularly liked Black Dress - a real girly song (!) When's the next CD out?
I love this C.D,
author: VassagoNever have I seen such creative genious on display. With songs ranging from head-banging to love ballads, they run the entire gamut. Clearly multiple influences coming together to create this artistic masterpiece.
Awesome! This is seriously killer music.
author: Jason PetersA friend gave me this guy's album. It is fantastic. Clever and insightful lyrics set to catchy, dynamic, asskicking music! Buy this CD.
Sparkly, this is!
author: Mike SchmidtThis album provides a wide variety of musical style drawing from the spectrum of the band members that Sam portrays. Influences from many bands can be heard within this album. By adding his own perspective, Sam melds the end result into a unique sound resulting in the aptly named Colorful of the Stereo. Personally I loved King of the Robots out of the gate and later fell for Alone followed by others. Bravo Sam! I look forward to the next album which I have heard is in the works. Oh yeah, and a special thanks needs to go to Ronnie Armstrong for the signing my CD!
Anime on Steroids
author: Brian StoolTerrific lyrics, AWESOME DRUMMING, unique vocals!!! 'King of the Robots' sounds like Anime on steroids. BUY THIS DISC!
Friggin excellent album!
author: Kevin GordonI'm blown away by this CD...funky...heavy...fun...extremely tight band...solid vocals. All of the tracks are well written lyrically and musically, and if this gets out there at all, it will play HUGE. I don't want to diminish the band by likening it to something that gets radio play, but the Crashtones, as evidenced by Colorful of the Stereo, are amazing!
