Crash the Car is Kyle Cashen’s songwriting project: sometimes performing alone, sometimes with a band; comfortably playing songs with an alt folk, indie rock, or electronic feel.
Crash the Car's first full length album, They Built Houses Here, was released independently on November 19, 2008. It was produced by Walter Bloodway, recorded and mixed by multi-instrumentalist Jordy Walker (Christine Fellows, Kepler, Kim Barlow), and mastered by Graemme Brown (Zen Mastering).
