This music is intended to neither disappear not intrude, but to accompany your thoughts, conversations, and activities during special events, leisure time, or everyday routines.

I have enjoyed performing and recording these pieces, and hope they add elegance, charm, and pleasure to your life.

Principal/Solo Harpist, Boston Ballet

DISC ONE
Schubert Waltzes & Country Dances on Harp
68 minutes (1 continuous track)
In addition to his serious works, Franz Schubert (1797-1828) composed some charming music that always makes me cheerful, whether as a performer or as a listener. In addition to some of his waltzes and country dances, this recording includes an excerpt from an Impromptu and a song, "Heidenroslein," all originally composed for piano.

DISC TWO
17th & 18th Century Music on Harp
79 minutes (1 continuous track)
This recording features European music composed for solo piano by Purcell, Clementi, Clark, Zipoli, Kuhnau, Leo, Couperin, J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, Hummel, Telemann, and Beethoven.

MORE ABOUT CYNTHIA PRICE-GLYNN
Cynthia's 1985 recording LULLABIES received a Parent's Choice Honors Award (Newton, MA) and was recommended by the Institute for Consciousness in Music (Port Townsend, WA). For 12 years Cynthia performed with Andanzas, a unique folkloric ensemble playing indigenous and contemporary Latin American music on traditional instruments (panpipes, clay ocarinas, wooden kenas, various guitars, light percussion, vocals - all played by the members from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bolivia, and Chile - with Cynthia on harp). Their two CDs (ANDANZAS 1 & ANDANZAS 2) were highly acclaimed and the group was nominated for many years as Best Latin Act in the Boston Music Awards.

Excellent performance and charming pieces. I thought if it had divided into several CD tracks, it was better.
