After a ten year breather Cousin Dale is back in force with the August 2007 release of their "Getaway" EP. The San Francisco based band's sound has matured, and while the new material is more punk driven, it retains the melodic hooks and catchy harmonies that won the quartet such a devoted local following. "Getaway" is fun, loud, and fast. Producer Adam Rossi, winner of the 2002 California Music Award for his production work with the band Luce, manages to capture some of the energy and humor that make Cousin Dale's live shows so addictive to fans. This four song EP is an exciting preview of the full length release due out in early 2008.
