"HEALING" #1 ON INDIE HEAVEN RADIO CHARTS JULY 2007 14 DAY RUN!
The CD's title song "Redeemed" was #1 on the indieheaven.com radio chart for praise and worship, last November. Both "Redeemed" and "Go Before Me" were top 10 finalists at the Gospel Music Association/Worship Together Magazine song discovery contest.
"Just Want To Say" is a perfect song for a wedding or special event with its acoustic feel and soothing melody, while "Healing" is a song about dealing with loss of someone close to you, and how God can heal the wounds and give us hope in the midst of pain. Here is a line from the song “Healing”- scars still tender to touch, a lifetime seems way too much, longing for the day You'll come for me.....Lord set me free." All the songs are purposful and deal with everyday life experiences through a Christian perspective.
Only a few years ago, Courtney started writing her own music. She started singing for her church and leading worship just out of college. Courtney leads worship for many women’s events and retreats, and also provides special music for weddings and other events.

Courtney continues to write and seek God's direction in her life. Balancing family and music can be challenging, but keeping the right perspective, praying and spending time reading the Bible helps guide her decisions and come up with new songs

    This is absolutely awesome music. Courtney has a beautiful voice, the music is wonderful, and the lyrics are very much Christ-centered. This is one of the best CDs I have purchased in a long time. If you like Courtney's music, I recommend Katy Kinard and Suzi Rawalt (both available here on CDBaby).

    I heard about Courtney through a friend and listened to her at a retreat on an ipod I was in awwwww! The songs are heartfelt and so soothing yet joyful.
