notes

Cosmic Cobra's signature sound stems largely from the lead vocal work of bassist Eddie Blue. One of the industry's true rock and roll voices, Eddie hails from the heart of the midwest, Danville, Illinois, the home town of other celebrities such as Gene Hackman, Donald O'Connor, and Dick Van Dyke. Cosmic Cobra's flamboyant guitarist and primary songwriter is Jet Stone, a native of New Jersey's vibrant rock and roll scene and avid collector
of exotic guitars. The rhythmic heartbeat of the band is provided by former Los Angeles dweller Rider, who plays strong and compelling beats on a custom-designed drum kit. This blending of East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest influences has helped to produce CC's uniquely appealing sound. With a clean, accessible, friendly sound that draws the listener in, Cosmic Cobra has great success getting their melodies and harmonies across to people hungry for music with more "sing-along-ability."
Flying in the face of much of today's angst-ridden music, their songs inspire escape and release, and provide a feeling of motivation and positive energy. Much like the classic rock songs that these three guys love, their music is rich and full, and speaks to a wide audience. But their relentless desire to create something
new and musically meaningful has produced their unique "modern-vintage" sound, which blends contemporary rock with sweet yet strong vocal arrangements to evoke catchy, likable songs that stand up great to repeated listenings
Combined with this musical integrity is a love of showmanship, and as such the band has developed a stage look that compels audience members to regale their friends
with remembered details the day following any Cosmic Cobra concert.
From custom-made clothing featuring chrome, rhinestones, sequins, mirrors, holograms, and metalized thread, to an ever-changing lineup of wildly-shaped guitars and basses, each custom finished with the most eye-dazzling paint jobs ever seen on a stage, to a one-of-a-kind drum set covered in holograms, chrome, and more than 5000 tiny mirrors, this is a show like you've never witnessed. You don't forget your first Cosmic Cobra concert.
