From the open meadows of California’s sierra mountains, Corinne West spins tales with a part velvet and part grit voice that is both achingly penetrating and highly addictive. Her music has a cool, layered, yet driven sound and has been referred to as “utterly spell-binding”, “radiant”, and “extraordinarily beautiful” by reviewers world-wide.

Her writing runs a golden thread through the likes of country, bluegrass, western, Americana and folk, resulting in a style that is hers alone. With the talents of Nina Gerber and some friends from The Waybacks, Corinne has concocted the perfect Americana recipe, which recently resulted in her acclaimed debut album “Bound For the Living”.

Corinne is currently working on her follow up record for “Bound For The Living”, which is being produced with Mike Marshall featuring Jerry Douglas, Tony Furtado, Mike himself and more!

When not in the studio, she is captivating audiences far and wide with a full touring schedule. She performs with her band The Posse, which is a rotating cast of talented instrumentalists.

Ms. West is forging her own contribution to Americana music, which fuses the distinct voice of an original singer-songwriter with the driving steam of an American Roots train. Combining a swingin’ pace with melodic ballads, Corinne delivers a soulful body of music that strikes the listener at the core.

    I heard "It's Your Time" on a UK radio show and the way Corinne's voice would change from tentative to strong in that song reminded me of Sandy Denny (and that is praise). I had to get the whole CD and wasn't disappointed. Of course, Corinne's voice is not all that like Sandy Denny's. She has a sound all her own, and it is all the more special for that...

    What can I say? It's just gorgeous. Angel, one of the first songs I heard, is still my favourite - it's beautiful. It's Your Time and Horseback are great too, but I like every song and that's rare with any cd. I can't see this one gathering dust on my shelves!

The voice of this woman comes from a deep and powerful place that can soothe and inspire a restless mind...........a great mix of lyrical poetry and awesome bluegrass pickin'.     Great stuff. She sings with great soul,as if each breath came right off a mountain wind. Incredible musicians. On Maybe Love Will Find You Corinne's vocal seems unmixed at times. Comes up very loud and then drops back again. Could be a bad disc. (??) But a small blemish on an otherwise beautiful project.

    I heard Corinne's CD at an outdoor concert last summer; the sound guy was playing it to "warm" up the crowd. The headliner band left me cold, but I sought out Corinne the next time she played in our area. I knew that night I would buy my friends and family this CD for Christmas. In the meantime, I've introduced more than 2 dozen co-workers and colleagues to her music. I've yet to meet a person who wasn't instantly mezmerized into a huge fan! Corinne's music is powerful poetry set to timeless tunes!
