notes
This pioneering underground rap crew outta Brockton, Mass. ripped mad shows throughout the northeast in the late 1990s, coining the term "acid rap" with their dusted rhymes about life, death, drugs, despair and everything in between. Unfortunately, tension, drugs and drama led original members Driftski and Shemrok to split in 2000.
Drift formed Natural Chaos with J-Maze (ex-Flip 22|Life Underground) and dropped their debut "Supanaturalz" in September 2005.
Shemrok, meanwhile, has resurrected the CTS beast and is recording several new albums while legions of misfits and outcasts have joined the Drugratz cult worldwide. Shem is busy recording with his newest project, B.O.D. (Broke On Drugs).
Recorded guerilla style on a minimal budget (much of it on a four-track), "The Diabolical Dope Act" stands as an underground masterpiece with its old skool electro beats, lo-fi production and brutal honesty.
