"Last Nights & Tomorrows" is the debut album from singer/songwriter Coincidence Theory. The EP includes five of her original songs, written and recorded at various points over a period of approximately four and a half years.
"These recordings are what I call my 'minimalist arrangements,'" she says. "For each track, I wanted to focus on the core of the song itself and try to convey an integrity without resorting to a lot of instrumentation or effects."
Acoustic guitar anchors all of the tracks, which also feature voice -- and vocal harmonies -- and a few appearances of electric guitar.
A native of Southern California, Coincidence Theory began composing music and playing guitar as a teenager, but did not begin writing songs seriously until her college and post-college years. Buoyed by the encouragement of friends, she continued to devote more time to arranging, writing, and recording music -- and eventually, started working on an album of original material. The project ultimately evolved into "Last Nights & Tomorrows."
