The Inspiration for this CD was the vast amount of untapped talent in the Coffs Coast region.
By utilizing the talents of many local Musicians, Artists, and Designers, this concept was brought to life.
The number of original bands is steadily increasing partly resurgence of the live music scene. As times get tough, music is the rallying point for a disillusioned population.
The bands featured on this CD are extremely relevant because they have inspired their own followings, gained respect amongst the local audiences and regularly host well-attended gigs of their own.
Two tracks from each band are showcased on this compilation.
There’s a great range of Coffs Coast original bands represented, with styles ranging from subtle to sledgehammer.
Members of several seminal Australian noise bands can be found in the song credits.
Though COFF IT UP is mainly focused on rock bands, a noisy little pop song or two has found its way through.
