CD permanently out of stock. Sorry!
Soulful, pop-infused rock. Anchored by the sexy-cool vocals of Leslie Kooy, this CD ranges from jangly alt-pop to wide open rock-n-roll. The perfect soundtrack for a couple martinis and a broken heart.

HISTORY:
In the late 1990's, a power-pop/punk trio called Blockhead was formed, featuring Pete Glase on drums, Neel Daniel on bass guitar, and Patrick Stirrat on guitar and vocals. They put out a couple lo-fi, high-energy CDs on the Urban Cheese Records label.
A couple years later, this trio hooked up with a new drummer (Brian T. Lumb) and a jazz vocalist (Leslie Kooy), and moved Pete Glase to lead guitar in the process. After a few summertime jams things started to fall into place, and a new band emerged with a completely different sound. The result is "Non-Specific Gravity", the debut release from The Cocktail Revisionists.
THE BAND:
Leslie Kooy - vocals
Pete Glase - lead & rhythm guitar
Patrick Stirrat - rhythm guitar & keyboards
Neel Daniel - bass guitar
Brian T. Lumb - drums

Superior production, strong songwriting and rich with instant classics!
author: MjThis album is a pop masterpiece. If you're expecting lo-fi indie pop look elsewhere. This is soulfully contrived songwriting at its best, with amazing musicians to back it up. Don’t miss out on this one!

I Love this CD
author: JenniferNot only is the music totally rockin', check out the totally kick ass video. One of the most creative projects I have seen from any band.
Excellent CD
author: JenThis CD is excellent. I have listened to it non-specific gravity no less than two dozen times, and it keeps getting better. If you're not dancing around your living room for "Beautiful," you need to listen again.
Fantastic collection of songs and lyrics with soulful vocals, a must-have!
author: Karen GuldanA former fan of Blockhead, I was amazed at the difference in this new CD. Leslie at vocals add depth to the overall sound, and sets this band apart to hold a unique place in my collection. Non-Specific Gravity blends nicely throughout, from upbeat tunes to soulful ballads, flowing together while encompassing the range of genres of the music. Opening strong with River to a Flood, one of the best tracks, along with Beautiful, this is a CD you want to listen from start to finish. The music and lyrics display the depth of the talent of this group. Also, don't miss the beautifully-shot full-length video on the CD. For the first release from the Cocktail Revisionists, it's a great complete package.
