Well tempered flowing vocals layered atop unique hard edged synths and drums. This sound was born out of many stylistic influences including EBM, Electronica, Industrial, and Rock, as well as a heavy dash of Classical background.

Cobalt Core Is:
Jeremy Lee: Vocals, Music Composition, Lyrics
Rob Snyder: Additional Composition, Programming, Production/Mastering
Bob Macko: Additional Composition, Guitar
Cobalt Core was first created in early 2003 as Jeremy finally found his voice. Shortly after, Rob signed on to help out, and the two became almost inseparable since. Bob joined the group mid to late 2005, and has become the final needed piece to the puzzle. The "Core" is a labor of love, of spirit, and of passion.
Cobalt Core layers Jeremy's well tempered flowing vocals atop synths, orchestral and ethnic sounds, and drums, sometimes hard edged, some times a little softer. It also features guitar work from master guitarist Bob Macko on select songs, along with mixing/mastering work and programming by Rob Snyder. All this put together makes for a very interesting and unique sound, sometimes reminiscent of industrial music, sometimes synthpop, sometimes harder edged rock, and sometimes classical or ethnic. It's a very wide pallet of sound. Don't take our word for it though, one has simply to listen to understand.
Check out their debut single "Anymore" out now on Strength Records (Srength Productions LLC), including the original club hit "Anymore" as well as three remixes including one by EBM/Industrial giants Assemblage 23, and a bonus track called "Memory".
“Anymore” has been getting club play all over including clubs in Cobalt Core's home town of Chicago, IL, including Neo, and Nocturna, as well as in clubs all over Germany.
Look for their album "Windowcut" coming soon.

Amazing Music. Loved "Ode to the Myst"!
author: Kristen DeemJeremy and group performed at Mysterium 2006 in Spokane. My jaw about hit the floor. Their "Ode to the Myst" song (about one of the Myst ages Er'Cana) was incredibly haunting and beautiful, completely capturing the spirit of these amazing games. The sounds evoked during the song also had an other-worldly feel; it seemed we were listening to the instruments of the ancient D'ni culture. We cheered and cheered. What a treat! I wish I could get this song on CD or Apple's Music Store for my iPod! Shorah B'shem'te. Kristen Deem Deeminator@aol.com
