“…Brotman plays his sensible, polished melodies on classical guitar backed by his smooth synthesizers and an understated ensemble …a cross between the gently laid back style of Earl Klugh and Russ Freeman, with a certain tropicality about it. Brotman is certain to have a bright future in contemporary jazz. Airplay cuts….damn near all of ém!” Contemporary Jazz Review
