notes
"A wonderful alternative to new age music usually used for massage." -- Beth, Massage therapist, Portsmouth
"I've heard a lot of acoustic guitar releases over the years, and far too many cannot offer the warm and friendly atmosphere that The Redwood Sidthe does. There is a real sense of intimacy here, and it is obvious after the first listening that Clarelynn truly loves what she does, and that shines through brightly in her performance."

"A collection of original uplifting solo guitar pieces that Clarelynn Rose plays gently enough to be suitable for massage. A rare "indie" find!!!" --from Amazon.com reviewer
This gentle collection of original music, Rose's debut album, are deeply relaxing. Twelve gorgeous acoustic guitar solos are perfect for helping adults unwind and for coaxing kids to sleep.
Rose explains that she aims "to help people find their still point in a turning world", a phrase borrowed from Joseph Campbell. Reviews indicate she is doing just that. The New Times Magazine calls the album "a calming, healing and soulful gift". A monk from Cyprus writes, "her music offers a connection to the inner spirit of man and nature".

Simple melodies played simply!
author: Edward WeissMost fingerstyle guitar players approach the guitar as a "rock" instrument. That is, they play without sensitivity. This artist is different. Each note played matters and Clarelynn gets that. There's no clumsy strumming or other hackneyed affectations many guitarists use. Simple melodies played simply describes this artist and you really can't do better than this when listening to fingerstyle guitar!

Lovely, lilting, "round" tunes that perfectly complement my style of massage therapy. This CD is full of joy. I only wish it was a full hour long.
Some of the prettiest music I've heard in awhile...
author: Bryan McGuckenBeing a big fan of instrumental guitar music in general, I found this CD to be quite warming and heartfelt. Rose's music is both simple and tender, and at the same time is full-bodied and rich, with deep and clear harmonies weaving their way through the music. A must-have for the new-age fan. It's some of the prettiest music I've heard in a very long time.
