Sweet power rock with a twist of progression.

notes

Clairmont was officially formed in 2003 when long time friends Josh and Daniel met their second half, Ben and Michael in College Station. Early in their inception, the group plunged themselves into writing their first single, “the real life threats of you and me,” to be released on Er compilation one. The song lyrically held so tightly and simply to the central theme of the compilation, that it was suggested by Jeff Price that they title their track in conjunction with the comp’s title. They have been writing ballads for the new millennium ever since. Recently, Clairmont made way onto their own record in the Spring of 2005 with the release of The Dweller EP via the friends and family of Esotype records.

This band has got a ton of potential. They have enough of the now popular "indie" sound to get the newcomers attention and enough of a budding maturity to give the old school lowbrows like myself the feeling that the second album will be much to our taste. Listen to it, when you don't like it, listen again. I did, and now I sing along to each song. do it!
