'Drum 'n Bass love songs'. That's what Chris McKagan set out to produce as CJCOSMOS in his first full-length album. "These songs were created with a mutlitude of synthesizers and electronics, yet keeping with my natural songwriting style born from my experience in rock/pop/metal bands and projects."
A skilled multi-instrumentalist, Chris formed Negative Earth in the late 80's and went on to play in such bands as Sun Gallery (with members of Muzzle), Cake, Hostility, Left Justified and Par Corliss.
Now Chris has set out to make his own name--and create his own scene. This full-length debut album "The Human Condition" is the first release in 2 years following the August 2000 release of the "Transcend EP."
This album features the vocal stylings of Christina Honeycutt (Ota Prota, Insexts) and the classically trained Aileen O'Leary. In "The Human Condition" Chris has produced a more intelligent, more laid back style of Drum 'n Bass that encourages the listener to ponder their own destiny.
