On-A-Mission Records Presents City Life vol. 1. This compilation is Produced majority by Quint Black, formerly with Too Short Records that gave us the Hit single “Shake Dem Haters Off.” Quint Black is back!! He returns with some of DFW’s most talented Artist and Producers, creating the Dallas Sound. This compilation has songs that will have the clubs on Fire! And smooth R&B that will get you in the mood! This compilation will appeal to music lovers of all ages- from those who love Rap to those who like their Rap with a sprinkle of Soul. Artists from City Life Vol. 1 have been interviewed live on KNON 89.3 Dirty Block Party show to promote the CD. Two songs “It’s Nuthin” and “Thug City” receive regular airplay on K104 FM - (Throw down Sam’s Mixed Show at 8 p.m.) in Dallas. The artists created a Hurricane Katrina Tribute Song, “Gulf Coast 5:45” also produced by On-A-Mission Records which is currently being played from 6-10 a.m. on K104’s morning team show. The artists were also the opening act for Cash Money’s star artist Lil’ Wayne at the “Big Balla Weekend”. Artists on the City Life Vol. 1 compilation are always performing in local clubs in the Dallas area to promote the City Life Vol. 1 CD.
