Cindy Bullens is a two-time Grammy nominee whose 25-year career in the music business has included working with Elton John, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and many others. She sang three lead vocals on the "Grease" movie soundtrack and has recorded several of her own critically acclaimed albums, including her first, 1979's "Desire Wire," which catapulted Cindy into the international spotlight. Cindy took time off to raise her children and write for other artists until, in 1996, Cindy lost her 11 year-old daughter Jessie to cancer. That tragedy inspired Cindy to write and record her widely acclaimed 1999 CD "Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth", featuring appearances by Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Bryan Adams, Beth Neilson Chapman, Rodney Crowell, and a haunting duet with her elder daughter, Reid. Since its release, Cindy has received worldwide attention from press, radio, and television, including NBC's Today Show, CBS This Morning, Conan O'Brien Late Night, The New York Times, People Magazine, Rolling Stone and many more. The CD also received the Best Rock Album award in 2000 by the AFIM Independent Music Association. Cindy took a break from touring to record her most recent CD, "Neverland," co-produced by Cindy and Steve Earle's Twang Trust partner, Ray Kennedy. Once again, Cindy's friends make appearances on backing vocalsóthis time featuring Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle and John Hiatt. Cindy's songs and spirit have been compared to Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Bonnie Raitt: whether she is on stage with her full band or playing solo, she commands the audience with her strong physical energy and the stark truth of her songs. The songs on "Neverland" bring Cindy back to the bare-bones fun of her rock 'n roll roots while continuing to explore the depth of emotion she has found in her life experiences. "Neverland" garnered her several spots on various Top Ten CDs lists after its release in the USA, including The Washington Post. The "Neverland" CD was released in Europe in July 2003. Cindy currently is back on the road, touring all over Europe and the US, with plans to perform in Australia in April 2004. At the same time, she is writing songs and planning to record her next album in the spring of 2004.

The Journey
author: audreyCindy's journey is beautifully and painfully expressed in her music and words. As a grieving mother, I know her journey continues, and I appreciate her gift in letting us join her a bit and so we may know that we are not alone. "As long as you love" gave me hope that my daughter speaks to me from heaven as well.

Moving and wonderful
author: Heather LamI had my first copy a couple of years ago after loosing my son. It helped me so much when I needed to grieve with only myself. I gave it to my aunt when my uncle passed away, for six months I missed it like crazy and had to get another copy. Thank you for making it possible.
Incredible
author: BillTo anyone who has lost their nearest and dearest, these songs speak straight to the heart from her heart. I felt like I was intruding in her journey through her grief. Thank you, Ms. Bullens, for sharing your heart and daughter with me.

When I lost my son I didn't know if anyone coud ever know the real pain I was feeling until I came across this CD. It is the best tearful, uplifting, hopeful, inspirational music I have listened to since. The best part is that the artist is someone who has been equally touched.
This CD says everthing I feel as a grieving mother
author: Zack's Mom- The songs on this CD put into word everything I feel as a mother who also lost her 11 year old child.

Medicine for the Soul of a Grieving Parent
author: HerbIt's more than the melody, it's more than the words; it's the power of the total range of emotions. The message talks to each parent who has lost a child better than most friends and family who cannot relate. From shock, to anger, to questions, to hope for the future, this album will make you cry which in turn will help the healing process. I was never a fan of rock, (a country boy at heart) but the dialog between Cindy and her audience makes the music secondary. In my new life, this is my favorite album.
