notes
Hailing from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas this artist has captured the essence of Spoken Word to the beat of music. Christine RAB Wilson also known as CRAB has been writing and performing poetry from she was a little girl on the island of Nassau. Crab has been inspired by many poets around the world such as Langston Hugh, Edgar Allan Poe, William Shakespeare, Mutabaruka, David of the Psalms, and her all time favorite Maya Angelou.
The Artist brings a variety of poetic style and music to this album with the help of Mr. Michael A Hoyte, a musical genius who also is very well versed in many musical instruments and Art. Mr. Hoyte known for his steel pan expertise in all the islands of the Bahamas is the son of the late Steel Pan Legend “Lil Sparrow” from Barbados.
“A Breath of Fresh Air” to say the least about this poetical evolution.
