DENIM BLUE
Born in N.Y.C. Chris Seefried was the lead singer/guitarist from bands Gods Child and Joe 90. Gods Child (signed by Quincy Jones) released two albums “Everybody” and “Aluminum” on Warner Brothers records. Their first album “Everybody” written and produced by Chris, features the billboard hit “Everybody’s One” that topped both the billboard “Modern Rock” and “Album Rock” categories simultaneously.
Joe 90 (signed by Adam Duritz of Counting Crows) has released two albums (also written and produced by Chris) ”Dream This” and “A Raccoons Lunch” featuring “And When I Die”, the end title from the New Line Cinema film Final Destination.
Chris started his first solo record "Denim Blue" in N.Y. by recording "Great Big Sky".
During the recording of the record, he met and started touring with Rosanne Cash as her background singer/guitar player, while doing solo acoustic shows in LA.
As Chris was completing work on "Denim Blue" he began working on music with "Low Stars" featuring Chris, Dave Gibbs and Jeff Russo. Their self-titled debut produced by George Drakoulias is out now!
"Denim Blue", with musical contributions from Dave Immergluck from the Counting Crows and Richard LLoyd from Television is finally out now!!

A great hangover album!
author: Colette... or perhaps I'm still drunk. Denim Blue is a beautiful collection of songs, masterfully written, played, produced, and sung by Chris Seefried. These have been some of my favorite songs since seeing Chris perform live several years ago. Perhaps that's why the album is so comforting and feels like an old friend. But more likely, it's due to the stories Chris tells through his lyrics - they're more than just songs, Chris takes you on an unforgettable journey. Good for hangovers, late nights, early mornings, lazy afternoons, or anytime you want to feel like someone knows you better than you know yourself. Track 3 - "Sweet Love" - is my favorite song on the album...for a few reasons. Buy Denim Blue and see for yourself!
