This album came about as the result of a challenge. A local(Portsmouth NH, USA) magazine called the Wire challenged every area artist to record a CD in the month of February, 2006. Borrowing the guitar and buying the mic, I committed myself to recording my original works completely solo and without any digital editing, multi-tracking or other manipulations. The resulting collection of songs represents my music at it's most honest: the truth. The completion of this album ranks among my proudest moments as a guitarist, including playing on bills with Robert Cray and John Hiatt, Tim Reynolds, Johnny A. and Denny Breau.

Beautifully crafted songs with strong imagery, a sonic treat.
author: ConorThese songs really bring a lot of visual content with them which is rare for an instrumental CD. The musicianship is excellent and the acoustic guitar was captured in a way that makes you feel like the guitarist is sitting right there in the room with you. Beautiful melodies with expansive chords and a very powerful percussive sense intertwined flawlessly into the phrasing. A fantastic and relaxing CD.
