notes
ChoiceFatal is: Steven Evans - Voice, Dale Garrity - Guitar, Mike Hames - Bass, Bret Smith - Drums.
ChoiceFatal was formed in July 2003, in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State. Members have risen from several successful local bands, looking for just the right team of musicians to set the Northwest back on fire with their distinct flavor of Metal. The music is a balance of power and control. Assailing fans with heavy guitar riffs, dynamic vocals, and an intense groove from the bass and drums, live shows are an onslaught of energy and confidence. The band is currently playing shows in the Northwest, and promoting the new cd to radio stations and online resources as well.
The album is called In Sight. We recorded it over the last six months, with the help of our producer Mr. Hateman, and Hateman Studios in Kennewick. We collectively brought together 10 songs that were already proven to produce savage mosh pits and head banging all around the northwest. Check out the live photos on the web site. You can get your hands on it first by coming to the cd release show Saturday November 20th at Rays Golden Lion in Richland. Our friends Prozack Staple from Seattle are coming down to help kick this off. We recently entered a contest with KZOK and Bob Rivers in Seattle. The song we entered is called Cold, (off the new album). One of the judges was Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains. The contest drew over 1000 bands that submitted songs and we placed 8th. That scheduled us for a 10 song compilation cd to be distributed in stores all over the Seattle area. The cd turned out well and gave us allot of publicity and web traffic. Our plan for the next year is to get in as many shows as we can throughout the northwest, and selective nation wide shows are in the works as well.
A little bit about ChoiceFatal, everyone writes and contributes in this band. There is no dictator. All four of us play guitar and write music. We call our style "Lo-Carb Metal" as it seems most of the metal out there is what we use to call thrash or death metal. We want to hook you with meat and melody both. You'll find a distinct sound with this band, as the guitars are everything you would want in a powerful metal sound but backed with an almost funky bass and drum rhythm section that will really grab you. Our singer Steven Evans recently won awards for best male vocals against thousands of singers not only in metal but all categories on garageband.com. The song Rip-Cord, (new album), also received awards for best production. One of the coolest things about finishing the cd is finally getting it to all the fans that have heard us live and want to hear us in their car and living room. If you are a listener, critic, or a musician, you'll love In Sight. Talk is cheap, so download an MP3 from www.choicefatal.com today

no disappointments here
author: jessicadelivery was fast cd was in excellent condition. we love love this site.
Powerful... Every peice of this band is off the hook!
author: NateThe vocals are killer, the bass does his own thing... not lined right up with the guitars at all times (which I like), the guitar riffs are heavy and groove oriented, and I cant say nearly enough for the drums. Sounds all balance and mixed very well. Damn... 5+!
Heeell yes boys... this rocks
author: CorbenHeeell yes boys. Bass player rocks. Im so glad to hear this. Extremely original. Absolutely love the bass playing. Very groove inspiring. Drummer says, Hey I can follow those bass lines... I dont want to say Rush, but Im thinking of them for some reason. Must be the technical aspect your are bringing to a metal sound. The vocals are righteous as well. Not overdone at all and has great power. The rythym guitars are perfect for your sound. Thats it. Fantastic to hear this...
ABSOLUTELY a feverish addiction!
author: AnnA delicious mixture of abilities shown of Choice Fatal. In Sight is a visible attraction to metal. Head bangers beware!
