"Thank you so much for buying our CD. We love you all and you will always be in our hearts. I hope you enjoy our singing and I hope our music makes you happy. We hope you listen to us all the time. We will always keep you in our thoughts. Love from Slindile" (aged 12)

Slindile is one of Africa's 12 million orphans. After losing both her parents she now lives in the AGAPE orphanage in South Africa.

AGAPE is home to 25 children and offers them warmth, love and protection. In January 2005 the home was destroyed in an electrical fire and the children were homeless.

The children aged 7 to 16 years, all have wonderful voices. They were donated studio time to record a CD of traditional Zulu songs and help raise funds to rebuild their home and improve their lives. The CD has been described by Alicia Keys as "so beautiful and pure" and is Dan Zanes' "CD of the Year".

Fortunately the children's CD has been a massive success and they are well on their way to building a brand new orphanage to live in. So now, all proceeds from this CD will be used to fund education costs for the Agape children, which we believe is vital in order to give them a brighter future

The Agape children are also featured in an award winning documentary film called "WE ARE TOGETHER (Thina Simunye)", The film is presented by RISE films and HBO DOCUMENTARY FILMS. To find out more visit www.wearetogether.org

    This documentary is by far the best I have ever seen and I played it for everyone that would watch. The music and the story blew me away. I cried and I smiled and I couldn't stop watching.     The tears that flow upon listening to the wonderous sounds of these wonderful children singing are but the tip of the emotions that their singing causes to circulate through the entirety of ones soul , of ones being . It spans the divide of the ' have ' and the ' have nots ' and in so doing gives humanity a view of that which unites us . Truly wonderful and inspirational .

To see how these young children are conquering obstaciles in life with the faith they have in God, it inspires me to do great things with my own life.     I heard the music of the Agape children at the Sheffield Documentary Festival, and being a musician and music teacher myself, i was not only taken aback by the raw talent of the family, and the children of Agape, but by their story, and the truth behind the film. The director spoke about the 'story' of the film being completely unplanned, and about how he found the children of Agape. He said he was travelling and heard their music in the distance. I can understand how he was entranced by their sound and was drawn to the children and their music. Thank you for bringing their beautiful music to us, and im sure the children are very grateful for what you have done for them. I will contact the director and producer in the near future to see how i can assist in making the children's dreams come true, by seeing what I can do to assist their dreams to visit the UK.

    I took my daughter to see the film "We Are Together" on her 18th birthday at the film festival in Wilmington, NC. We were both immensely touched by the entire story.     Dear children of Agape, I saw the movie at Zagreb Film Festival (Croatia, Europe) and it made me aware of overall situation in Africa, so, I simply had to have the CD! Your music is very inspiring and I am listening to your CD all the time!     Recently I saw the movie "We are together" at Zagreb Film Festival, and was completely stunned by it. The whole story, life of the children, ups and downs reminded me that my problems are nothing compared to their lives. What struck me most is the ease (or so it seems) how this kids struggle with the problems their lives are filled with. I really was amazed with their singing and absolutely touched by the fact that they managed to go New York and sing with musical stars of today. Naturally, the very next day I've order the CD and enjoyed every verse of it. I even thought about some volunteering at Agape, which someday maybe will come true. I wish them all the best!!!

    We were given this cd late June by the director of the Agape Children's Centre after we had taught the children AIDS awareness and prevention for several days and shown the Jesus film. They would sing to us each day and we realized how special they were but believe it or not we did not realize they were at all famous, not until later. It was so cold, they are living in a center very much under construction. Dirt was being shoveled out of the classroom the morning we arrived to teach. Their school was out on strike. They shared with us their prayer requests like to be an electrical engineer, a social worker, a singer, an actress. May they reach their dreams.

Don't play it as background music or even in your car, sit down in a comfortable chair, close your eyes and absorb the music, the heavenly sound into every reach of your being. But first, don't forget who is singing this, go to their website, read their story and enter into their pains, their trials and their joy. Die to yourself and join them in their prayers.     This CD is amazing, I visted Agape orphanage June 2006 and the children sang some of the songs to me and it was the most amazing feeling. I cried and was so touched by the power and harmony of there gorgeous voices. They are amazing young people and so full of spirit. It shows that with a little bit of hope, anything is possible.
