The second CD from the Chicken Slacks is now available at CDBaby! "Dancin' With the Chicken Slacks", recorded in 2007, features the soul stylings of vocalist Diamond D belting out a great collection of familiar soul and funk standards.
The band recorded this CD as a "sampler" of sorts, culling nine fan favorites from the over 200 songs they perform regularly in their live performances. This is a great survey of the band's sound, complete with the "Chicken Slacks Brass Attack", and some great organ and piano work. And there is even a bonus track of the Slacks performing as a jazz ensemble, which they do often for weddings and private events. Get down to the mighty Slacks!
