(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

11 rock and blues songs featuring guitar and sax and powerful lyrics about such things as if Christ played in the NFL, a fast moving woman, friends, doing your best, travelin' blues, desires and when you run out of things to say.

notes

songs to make you think about your real purpose in life. how you're living and what choices you make on the path of humanity. it's not all serious stuff either, always time to stop and have a laugh or two.

here's what's on the platter, produced by steven cooper...

"if jesus wore shoulder pads"... perhaps the saviour would be vastly more popular if he quarterbacked an n.f.l. team on sunday?

"she-la-la"... a fun rompin' tune written for my beautiful wife, sheila (she-la-la)!

"i can move slow"... it's all about timing and speed with this one. you got to catch her at just the right place and time!

"feel the love"... and when that dirt nap is over, christians have the promised gift of the resurrection to look upon.

"old friend"... getting back together with friends after a few years is really a special time.

"best i can do"... life is all about putting your best efforts out there.

"walkin' the talk"... can you stick to your word? even when it's easier to compromise?

"vagabond blues"... wise men often shun responsibilities when social engineering nullifies their efforts, but they can be found in the humble places.

"what would jesus do"... sometimes the most complex blessings are bound up in simple things.

"my desire"... did god almighty do it up right when he created wimmenz? it don't get any better than this.

"nada song"... ever have a melody that longed for the right words? i got nuthin'.

This album is full blown dudes! love it! Between all of the musicianship on this album as well as, Cooper holding down the heavy rhythm with an awesome selection of tonal barrages from the old Hammond B-3 to ear splitting wave forms of synth goodness and even a bit of dirty blues, honkytonk piano this is a collection to hear. Come on, crank it up!
