ah yes, human flesh... probably most of you reading this are composed of it. i know some of you sentient beings out there only look human, but play along anyway. this collection of songs mixes the cerebral with the carnal, which is the dicotemy of the human being. one day we're all cozy with our creator and all around, the next, we're in the gutter getting jiggy with it, as they say. it's what makes us who we are... and honestly, if the uppity "visitors" to this small planet don't like it, they can kiss my ass! seriously folks, we are a unique species and one that may appear soft on the outside, but the resolve is inward. we already have and continue to overcome tremendous specie obstacles, both in our physical and spiritual world, so don't take too much too seriously. afterall, we have promises and overlords watching our every move, so relax and enjoy the songs... be true to yourself. be human. rock on.

"crush them with rock"... make it an anthem, they know who they are and so do you. they should be crushed and the power of music will certainly wake up the slumbering giant of america.

"6 feet away"... better make the best of what you got now, 'cause sooner of later we all have to take that long dirt nap.

"i wanna be prezident"... i could do just as good a job. i have mad skills.

"critique this"... useless bags of hot air and opinionated nonsense. usually tainted with a political agenda. i personally have no use for critics or their "work".

"my mojo"... for some relationships, it takes a little help from the supernatural.

"e.t. blues"... finally the truth comes out about all these alien abductions.

"sexasaurus"... it's prehistoric, it's paleozoric, it's even caloric!

"sunset"... inspiration ala carnality.

"happysong"... there's just so many ways you can make yourself happy with nowadays. get out there and try something.

"thang"... when there's really no other word to describe what you're feeling.

"human flesh"... our perfect package that holds us together.

    You've really got to hand it to Chevy Ford Band vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bubba Hudson! He fits the music well because we want to hear, no, we must hear the words. He's the type of vocalist who delivers the lyrical line precisely. His vocal quality is right in line with the genre. And what is that genre? It's pop/comedy/ tongue-in-cheek/ 80's and 90's rock/blues tunes with outrageous and eclectic lyrical content. For anyone to hear them live without any idea what the songs are about... must be the delight of Murrey and the band because the music is straight-ahead contemporary rock/pop and blues - and we're positive there are those who listen to the music, not paying too much attention to the lyrics who will find the joke's on them. Oh and Sexasaurus is awesome song too! all awesome original indie work here!

    These songs are such a refreshing alternative and really, these originals all of them, ARE alternative with all the meaning of that word! I keep waiting to hear you guys on Indie Radio. I know you are out there, so someone needs to get off their A$$ and get you guys some one to put these songs on their big hit albums or get you signed or something. These are just TOO GOOD! We love Sunset too, perfect for such TV as Californication or Weeds. Come on Showtime!
