"Heart To Heart" by Chet McCracken and Chris Pinnick features the compositions written and recorded around the time Chris had a heart attack and a heart transplant.
His guitar work has never been better and is always acclaimed by all who hear him Chris was a member of "Chicago" and has worked with John Klemmer and Herb Alpert to name a few.
Chet is a former Doobie Brother and a "Grammy Nominated Composer" for "South Bay Strut" from the Doobie CD "One Step Closer".
Chet steps up to the plate with his vibes and drums.
Written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Chris and Chet this "Heart To Heart" CD is a work of love, patience and persistence regarding the health of Chris Pinnick.
For your information, he is a picture of health these days.
All the cuts are originals by Chris and Chet except the classic "All Blues" by Miles Davis done in 4/4 time instead of 3/4 time as written by Davis and the Rufus Thomas hit "Walkin' The Dog" that features Chet's wife Kim and daughter Eva on vocals.

author: ShakehThe wonderful, memorable melodic lines and textures of Chris Pinnick's guitar work is always a joy and in this album especially so. Chet McCracken's rhythms subtley drive, groove, and take you on a wonderful journey. I immediately loved the feel of this album and have played it over and over. A must for Jazz lovers but easily enjoyed as well by those of us who are not hard cores but lovers of great feeling music that lifts you up and makes you feel great!
Great. Listening again and again. Wish they would do another one soon!!!

Really like the vocals -- speaker and singer, too. When will the next one be out?
